Our Mission Statement
Saving Lives,
Communities, and Our Environment
Empowering Resilient Communities, when disasters threaten. Safeguarding lives, property and our environment when disasters strike.
DSF will accomplish this through networking our resources with financial, physical, educational, technological assets and manpower whenever possible.
Wherever possible we will provide assistance, support and funding before, during and after a disaster with the primary goal of mitigating the loss of life, property and environmental damage in our communities.
Operations
DSF utilizes its affiliates to manage and operate its day to day operations to minimize its overhead costs. This maximizes our resources available to pursue our mission.
DSF utilizes the resources and funding for the following pursuits:- Research and development of new technology, new methodologies, and new resources in the disaster support arena.
- The creation and support of new business enterprises contributing to disaster support activities.
- Create joint ventures with participants to incorporate new and existing resources into viable solutions for disaster support.
- To construct, build and produce the facilities, machinery, labor, and/or operations necessary to create resources for disaster support.
- To contribute financial support to community organizations, municipalities, governmental agencies, businesses and NGO’s involved in disaster support activities, either directly or indirectly, utilizing the best financial methodology available to meet the needs and requirements of the situation.

The Future
THE PROBLEMS WE FACE TODAY:
- Except for weather related disasters, which we can now forecast up to 10 days in advance, all other disasters happen with little if any warning, requiring an unplanned response immediately. This is where DSF shines, by providing mitigation to reduce the relief and recovery efforts and cost.
- Around the globe, humanity relies upon governmental agencies, and certain NGOs such as the Red Cross for protection (to mitigate), assistance, and support in a disaster. For the most part these organizations can only respond during and after the disaster has happened. And that is what they do, and in most cases very well.
- The private sector, for the most part cannot participate in these efforts readily for numerous reasons.
It is OUR mission to change and alter this situation in such a manner as to permit the private sector to more actively participate in disaster support activities in an organized rapid deployment methodology utilizing the power and capability of both current technology and new technology yet to be developed.
In this manner, the burdens of disaster support resting on the shoulders of community organizations, municipalities, and governmental agencies can be alleviated by allowing the private sector to share in the efforts of providing such support.
Come Join with Us in these efforts.
